which would you like to live by?
Things you should know:
· This is a commercial bid for precious greenbelt land, dressed up as a new home for the local football team with unnecessary and unwanted ‘community’ facilities.   (See what we could be losing)

· LTFC has publicly announced that it will not consider J12 as a location until they have completed an independent study of all possible locations.  Therefore, this planned football stadium doesn't currently have a football club to play in it.

· This development is larger than Harlington itself; it and its activities will swamp the village.

· Football and other stadium traffic will avoid the motorway and won’t use public transport.  It will come through Harlington.

·
Football fans won’t pay parking prices at the stadium; they will park in your road.

·
An estimated 3,000 lorries a day could drive in and out of the warehousing development 24/7.  (See why)

· Lorries will cut through the village and it will be the only route in and out if traffic problems occur on the M1

· On match days or concert days, you will have to queue to get into and out of your village.

· The value of your property will go down and you will find it difficult to sell should you wish to move.

· Noise and pollution will increase.

· You will be able to see the development from many points in the village, including from your homes.

· 98% of Harlington residents surveyed have said they will not use the community facilities on offer

Fighting this planning application could stop this devastating development.   Doing nothing won’t stop it.         Click here to see what YOU can do

The Campaign for Sustainable Harlington (CaSH) is an action group made up of Harlington residents to oppose a planning application to build a new 20,000 seat stadium and a substantial commercial distribution development - potentially one and quarter times the size of Harlington itself.

A recent statement by the applicants that the stadium itself occupies an area of only just over one tenth of the size of the whole site gives a further idea of the horrendous scale of this project.
